In Taipei, it’s never difficult to find a loft space with a mix of products and workshop areas. It didn’t occur to me that even in Keelung, you can find one store like this.
Tzaba
“Tzaba喳吧” is located near the end of Yi 1st Rd near the intersection with Zhongzheng Road. The walking path will pass by the famous Sichuan restaurant “HsiaoEmei” and goes along the same side of the arcade for about 10 minutes. You can’t miss the large, bright windows of Tzaba begging you to stop.
There are leather products and vintage objects that the owner, Cyan, brought back from Japan. Each one has been quietly placed in the right places and feels harmonious and comfortable with its lights, sunlight, plants, and music. In addition, you can make reservations of hand-made leather courses in Tzaba, bring reference designs of leather products, and discuss implementation with Cyan. Imagine hearing the sound of cutting leather, knocking mallet and, from time to time, discussion and occasional laughter on the workbench. This echoes the name Tzaba – “twitter bar.” We look forward to hearing the conversations take place and in this cozy space.
